Default 2004 victory tc

I want to know if anyone knows whether you can remove the baffles from a tc and replace them with the baffles from a vegas stage kit? Couldn't find a kit for the tc so looking at doing the above.

What's the cost on the baffle your tring to incorporate? While the level1 exhaust is not floating around in excess the D&Ds for the TC have a good grunt to them also. Level 1s are not much more than a small glasspac straight thru shot exiting at 1 3/4". May check local muffler shop for doing something like the Vision and dropping a thrush in.
Maybe this pic will help,

Tim

Default baffles for 2004 tc

I got my answer tonight when I removed one of the mufflers. The TC has welded mufflers not like the the stage 1 which has removable baffles. I guess after looking at the stage 1 which is pretty much straight thru, I could drill out the baffle and that would have the same effect. The only other option is to buy D&D pipes. $$$$

I can't see anything bad happening if I do the stage 1 flash.

Good to know what the guts got in them. Cant remember who on here posted sound clips of drilled baffle stock TC pipes but had a decent sound to it. Stage 1 flash has a nice pep in the step couplesdwith the ness or ss air filter which removes that bulky air box. Love the sound of the V92 gulping air when i did mine. I think the stage 1 flash cost was around 150 when I looked into it a couple years ago, would need to verify but another option would be a VFCIII which requires the bike to have a stock flash. This might give you more flexibility for the buck and its plug and play. I'm sure lloydz has a basic map that would get you started. Just an option. I might still revert mine back to stock then put the VFC on it after seeing what it did for the VV. shouldn't be anything but good giving it the air, fuel and opened exhaust the V92 deserves. Good luck and keep us posted

Default 04v92 upgrade

When I found out the removing the baffles was a major problem. I decided to go with the D&D exhaust. I talked to them and they are great help. I now have a 04 tc upgraded to stage2 D&D pipes and a 100ci big bore mod. The dealer had was unsure but the mods went smooth and I am happy. Now to break it in. The bike now talks when you twist the throttle.
