Congrats, and welcome to the forum and to the Victory family.

Please add your bike's year and model to your signature. Here's why.

Riding: 2011 Cross Roads & 2016 Springfield

---------------------------------------
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

If you bought the bike that's right for you and your needs, then you will enjoy it. If not, you won't keep it long.

If you have questions, tell us more about yourself as a motorcyclist and tell us about your bike, which you will be placing in your signature, or Diamond will chew on your ear.

Welcome and here's to many happy miles and smiles with your Victory. This forum will guide you to be a wonderful Victory owner - keep in touch, pahdnah.

2010 Midnight Cherry XR. 7Jurock, Lloydz AF, ATS, AFR tuned VFCIII, IAV, and T-6 and locally repacked pipes = big smiles. SOLD to a dear friend, so it's still in the family."

Can't go wrong with a Vic but do you know if the known issues with the early Vic's have been taken care of on your new '99?

I don't know much about them but from what I've read; there was some kind of issue with the trans and maybe an electrical issue with the speedo. There are plenty of folks around here who know much more about them than I do.

Welcome!
