Welcome, I came from a sport bike last year and haven't looked back. What issues are you having?

The bike keeps shutting off. Over 10 times in under 150 miles. Its been back to the dealer twice and now its even worse, still shutting off, back firing and popping a lot, no bottom end, bad throttle response.

The dealer is telling me its probably me, and that Im "not supposed to rev the bike at all" not even for down shifts because it confuses the fuel injection.

Really, I cant rev my bike?

There is much more to the story and I will post it all once I can post in the general section.

Sounds like your dealer is an idiot, but typical dealer answers, and yes you can rev that bike. It may be a cruiser but should have no problem running to redline . What year? Sounds like the throttle bodies need to be cleaned up, fairly common on Vics. Someone on here has a "how to" or maybe it's on the witchdoctors website. Have you checked the plugs and wires? Is it hard starting as well? I'd check the stuff I mentioned first then we'll talk fuel pump if none of that pans out.

Default where in pa

letting people know the town you live in will not hurt you and can help. a fellow local owner maybe even look into your issue. also any mods or just stock, under warranty and although vic dealers are not plentiful some are better than others. i am 70 miles from 3 pa dealers and bought a used 13 hammer, no issues and running well, hope you get it sorted and be sure to keep paperwork as a year is a short warranty as they must fix an ongoing issue once warranty is gone!! good luck

Hmmm, I thought maybe it was a used bike. I'd be right up that dealers ass on this. For now I would just be start going over everything. Check all connectors, tighten the throttle body boots paying real close attention to this area....

Welcome. A newby myself. Sorry you are having a rough time. Agreed, I'd be crawling all over that dealer. Probably one of a number of fairly simple things. Good luck.
