Default Another DFW newby

Greeting, I am a long time Harley rider, (2) Sportsters, RK, and (2) Low Riders. Present bike is a '93 FXR Low Rider. I don't own a Vic, yet. Lusting after a VV. The Demo tour came to Denton a couple weeks ago. Was highly impressed with the handling of the VV. My shins were roasted pretty good, though. The second VV had the lower deflectors on it. Shins felt much better. Does enriching the fuel ratio also help greatly with lessening the shin roasting? Look forward to reading about the mods to these bikes. Lots of potential!

The tour did the same thing to me. Don't know about the heat, it's welcomed right now tho! Good luck on your decision.

cause of the body work you get warm no mater what. Most guys put lowers on the sides deflect the heat.
Changing timing wheel will give you more power for $160 bucks.
D&D pipes and top air filter and front will help.
For around $25 hundred buck will get you Lloydz cams fuel tuner and you'll be at a 100 horse.
A stock vision will beat most stock harley 103's.
I think the FXR and FXRT was the best bikes harley ever made
