Welcome from the People's Republic of Portland. Sorry that Santa didn't bring you a paved road, but I know you are going to enjoy your XR as I do mine. You live so close to some great riding roads, I envy you.

2010 Midnight Cherry XR. 7Jurock, Lloydz AF, ATS, AFR tuned VFCIII, IAV, and T-6 and locally repacked pipes = big smiles. SOLD to a dear friend, so it's still in the family."
2017 Spyder F3 Limited - keeps this old guy in the wind and riding with friends.
Cure that ugly stand up license plate with the cheapest and best laydown bracket. Click this:

Yeah! I can't wait for the snow to melt at Crater Lake. I've ridden around it on my Norton and it has always been very enjoyable! A lot of great roads around here!

Due to Gullible Warming, the Rim Road might open as early as mid August.

If we were around to cause global warming before the ice age, we could have saved the dinosaurs!

Please add your bike's year and model to your signature. Here's why.

Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

What a pessimist you are! I betting worst case, the first week of August! I was up near there on a Christmas tree hunt and there was a lot less snow than I expected. There just might be an early ride!

You got that right, except there were many, many ice ages. Hmm, s'pose there were warming periods between them? Nah, couldn't have been, the earth was always like it was when we were born.
Maybe this Gullible Warming thing might be a way to make certain folks very wealthy, ya think? I mean, who'd want CFLs with mercury in 'em if they weren't forced on us?

The bogus theory of evolution links climate change with evolution itself (human evolution too). So if bad humans really cause global warming, all you do is accelerate evolution, which means better humans in the long run. Woo hoo...

Welcome from Oak Grove Oregon. Had my 2013 XCT since September and I hope you enjoy your XR. Nothing but smiles every time I ride even in the rain.

Cool
I'm in Springfield.
Where did you buy your bike?

I love Crater Lake. I've been there somewhere between 300 and 400 times. Winter and Summer.
The secret to riding the rim at Crater Lake; is riding around the lake clockwise. There are places a bike can pull over near the rock wall that cars can't. (don't even need to get off the bike)
