Default Looking to get a Kingpin...need advice

Hello All,

After a three year hiatus, I am looking to get back on a bike . I have wanted a Victory since about 2003. I think I found my next ride. I just have some questions about cost and if it is a decent deal.

Here is what I am looking at:
2005 Kingpin
5500 Miles
Ness handle bars
Mustang Seats with driver/passenger back rest
Victory performance exhaust
21" Polished front wheel
18" Polished rear wheel
He started at $10,500, down to $9000 this week. I thought about offering $8000. Is this too much, not enough, or just about right?
I see prices all over the place for this year and model ($6000-11,000)

Any advice is appreciated. Questions I should ask the seller would be helpful too.

Cheers
Gibster

Worth about 8000 tops in perfect shape. I'd offer 6500, and see where you ended. Is it just a Vegas front wheel, or is it a proper 21x3.5"

I'm not an asshole...I just type that way

Thanks Kevinx,

The owner says it was done pro and put on the correct way. Not exactly sure what that means, does it mean it was raked or some kind of adapter to make it ride and track correctly? As you can tell I am a complete newbie to the Vic world, but I am a quick learner!

Do you have pics of the bike? That would help also.

I see no type of rake done to it, and though it is hard to tell by the pic. It looks like a 21x3.5. So I guess my next question is the tire a 90/90/21 or a 130/--/21

Cool that means the wheel is a 3.5" wide version

Agreed with the guys. I wouldn't pay more than
8k for it. I bought an 03 vegas back in march for $5500 and since that bike has the nice wheels I'd say 8k is good.
If he insists about 10k I suggest you get a brand new Vegas 8 ball for around 12k.
Here is my 03.
