Default New Jackpot owner

Just picked up a still new 09 Vegas Jackpot and I am in love! It's my first street bike, grew up with dirt bikes. I haven't ridden in close to 15 years, so I am taking the safety class this weekend. I know I probably shouldn't have bought the Jackpot first, but I couldn't pass it up. Looked at that other American made brand, but it just didn't do it for me. The lines, the smoothness had me smiling ear to ear. The only other thing that makes me do that is my Wrangler.

I came here to see what everyone else is doing to their bikes, I'm happy with the stock pipes, but just to tick off the wife I want to get something a little louder! She thinks it's loud enough, so for now we agree to disagree.

Thanks for reading and I hope to learn a lot from all of you.

Patrick

Welcome to the board Patrick. That's one good looking ride.
My bike has the stage 1 kit and IMHO it has the perfect sound but I'm sure others will chime in too.
If you do a quick search you'll find many threads about pipes.

Thanks I figured that has to be one of the most common questions on here. I'm on another car forum and the same "can I fit 35"s without doing a lift" comes up just about every other day.

This is my first bike, so I have alot to learn. I looked around other forums, this felt the most comfortable and have found the members here are quite a bit more knowledgeable.

If i can just get my wife to go out of town for the weekend I could learn everything I want on here

Welcome to the Victory Forums.

A few helpful pointers,
  • Please take the time to read the “Sticky” threads in the “Victory Forums Rules and New Members Introductions” forum. This will help you out a LOT with the Victory Forums.

  • The Search feature is your friend! You will find the answers to a lot of your questions by using it.

  • If you are asking questions that are of a technical/mechanical/electrical/performance nature, please place them in the “Victory Tech and Performance” forum. This will speed up a response. Placing them in the model specific forum can delay a response.

Please add the year and model of your bike to your signature, so we know how to help when you ask a question!

Welcome aboard from the NW Side of Chicago!

(No you cannot put 35 MTR's on your new bike. Too much tire rub! You must own either an FJC or a jeep!)
