Finally pulled the trigger...2013 Cross Country Tour
After a lot of hemming and hawing and researching, I finally got a Cross Country Tour. The dealer had a demo ride day, and I took out a XCT and a Vision. I was pleasantly surprised by both, especially the Vision -- I was not expecting that to handle as well as it does. Maybe if I get over the looks and saddlebags one day I'll get one of those.
I ended up getting a Bronze 2013 demo with 800 miles or so -- got a pretty good deal. Really pretty color and pretty bike. Picking it up next week. I'm having them put a shorter wind screen on it, as I'm not a fan of the look-through style, but I expect I'll have to mess with different wind screens to find the one that fits me. It's a shame it doesn't have the adjustable one like the Vision -- man that was nice.
All in all, I'm happy to be a part of the Victory family so far. Especially compared to the Harley dealers I've been to, the two Victory dealers I've visited didn't reek of bullshit and marketing. More of a "here it is, here's the deal we can do" attitude.
I'm eyeing the tri-oval exhaust and different tuner options. Still looking for the best Android phone interface (I'm not an Apple guy) -- I don't particularly care for the audio cable + USB deal -- I'd rather have some sort of bluetooth control. Any advice on this front is welcome and appreciated.

And I was right in between a couple of snow mobiles actually, yea, heh. It was just about closing time when I signed the papers, so by the time I took this picture they were all packed up and ready to close. Was a tight fit trying to get a picture of the thing.
Welcome to the Victory Family. I am quite sure that you made a great choice. You will only grow to love these bikes more. I hear that the bronze color is not as fast as a black bike (known to be the fastest color). But I am quite sure after you tinker with your new bike you will be able to keep up.
Welcome aboard!! There is a thread in the Cross Country section at the top with an adapter for the people who do not want to use/have Iphones. There is also a thread for a dockboss adapter which allows you to stream music from your phone which uses bluetooth. Not real tech savy so I didnt post the links
