Default hello from Georgia

Good morning everyone. Ive been lurking here for a looong time, but Ive finally decided to post. Ive been on an 05 Dyna for quite a while, but Im about to upgrade to a 14 XC. Little concerned about the rain since this will be a daily rider like my old FXDL and Ive never owned a bike with any kind of stereos, gps, etc. Guess I'll see how it goes. Thank yall in advance!

Welcome from Woodstock, GA. Where in GA are you? You won't have to worry about the stereo. They are designed to get wet. Ride safe!

Welcome to the forum.

Only thing rain affected on some bikes is the cruise control - easy fix if you stuff some dielectric grease in it.

Your bigger concern will be the stock tires, which are not the best tires on wet pavement.

Please add your bike's year and model to your signature. Here's why.

Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Thank ya. I know there are a few groups in GA that have weekend rides, since that's now the only chance I have to ride. Switched to a new job that requires me to commute by car.
