Default Howdee!

Howdee y'all,

I am considering buying a Cross Country and want advice from members here. My current ride is a Harley Davidson and one of the reasons I am interested in Victory is because of how unreliable my 2013 Harley has been. There are throttle by wire problems/computer problems with the Harley bikes.

Are there any known issues with the Victory Cross Country? Any issues with the throttle by wire system? What should I be aware of?

Also, I understand that since Victory is aggressively going after Harley owners I could negotiate a lot in the deal. What should I ask for? What should I expect to get?

You should be aware that Victory does not have throttle by wire.

Please add your bike's year and model to your signature. Here's why.

Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

And if you ever want less throttle travel, there's a $20 ring (or you can make one for less than a buck or two).
