Default Good news for Marylanders

Although some have not had good experience with them, Chesapeake Cycles in Annapolis is going to start selling Indians this spring. Initially they were thinking April but it could be as soon as March. The Indian demo truck is scheduled to be there May 9th and 10th.

BTW, I bought my Cross Roads there but have only been back for the 500 mile service and a couple other times. I never had a problem there but I also to go there very often either.

Seems this date has move up, yet again. My buddy was at the bike show yesterday and talked to the dealer you mentioned and they expect to get their first shipment of 10-12 this week. Two will be demo bikes and the rest for sale.

May have to find my way there earlier... Thanks for the heads up.

I'm just wondering how well everything will fit on their sales floor

I have never been to that particular dealer so I have no idea as to size of floor v. number of bikes, but I guess he'll make it work.

We're going on the 22nd as long as he does in fact get the shipment, gets everything uncrated and ready to go and the weather is good enough for a test ride. I rode to work today and it's a bit..."chilly".

Had her out for a few hours yesterday but caged it to work today. Saw a few flakes on the way in at 0630 as well. It don't look like it's going to clear up like the weatherman said either (surprise surprise )

If you look at the pictures on their website (http://www.chesapeakecycles.com/new_...e_category.asp) you can get an idea for what kind of area they have. The problem is they sell Victory, Triumph, Zero, Vespa, and Piaggio. Now adding Inidian. I hope it all works out for them.

I talked to a Polaris rep a bit at the DC show and he implied that Bernie hasn't been ruled out to be an Indian dealer. Just Chesapeake is ready sooner.

Though you were not asking me, I'm perfectly happy with my Vic and have no intention of letting it go. My buddy is excited about his new Indian and I'm very happy for him.
