Now we get to play 20 Questions for the OP's lack of information.
1. What bike?
2. What model?
3. What year?
4. How was it stored?
5. Battery Tender?
6. Checked the battery's condition prior to starting?
7. Checked to see if battery terminals are tight?
I'll let others take over from here.

The Achilles Heal of a Victory are the battery connections. They can cause all sorts of problems, regardless of model.

Placing a star washer between the nut and the cable REALLY helps keep things tight.

I'd start there.
