Default Ride through Vermont

I'm planning on next Thursday and Friday taking off for a nice relaxing ride. My plan is to start at the bottom of Vermont and take route 100 as far as my ridding partner wants to. If he wants to keep going, my plan is to head up to route 2 and over into new York up at the Canadian border. If he can't '' hang'' we will still have a great time up 100 and over to new York via the ferry. Any ideas or suggestions for places to eat, roads I have to hit, things I must see, etc?

Check Vermont 511. I believe a section of 100 will be closed next weekend for bridge repairs.

Will do, thanks for the tip. A couple weeks ago me and my father got stuck in 10 miles of road work.
