PaiN, IMHO the "named" roads and highways in the SE left a lot to be desired. The roads blue roads less traveled are the ones I found to be more memorable. The Dragon was just OK, lots of other riders to chat it up with, crowded on weekends. Do it if you really need that feather in your bonnet. Riding the BRP was like Groundhog Day - very repetitious. Didn't I just do this series of curves ten times already?? It got so boring, I bailed. But then, I'm spoiled living and riding in the west, with its variety and something different around every turn.
Solo riding is good in that you have only your mind, stomach, bladder, tank, speeds and map to be concerned about, but having a riding buddy who is a perfect match to all of the above is even gooder - especially if you have the means to electronically communicate while under way.
Look at maps and check out those thin black or blue lines and go for it.
