Default Has my frame been cut?

Ok, I'm new to all this motorcycle stuff, and trying to do as much of my own research as I can, sayin that,

I've read alot about having to cut the frame to install some after market exhausts, on my Hammer S

First question, my bike currently has the Victory aftermarket Shotgun pipes on it, was there some cutting required when these were installed, what do I look for to know if this has been done or not?

Second question, I've read that the shotguns sound great(and they do), but rob you of HP, so I'm considering getting the Hacker custom exhaust, Jokers or Rippers, (no cutting needed) they say adds 10hp, idk about that being accurate, but opinions on this being a better choice than the Vic Shotguns..

P.S. I've ordered the LLoydz ATS and Airbox, haven't decided on the PCV or his Gen 4 fuel controller with auto tune.
Lookin for any info good or bad
Thx

Shotguns required cutting the frame if they were from Vic. The right frame rail would have been cut off at about the rear of the engine. If not cut; the rail curves up, and goes over a stud sticking out on the swing arm pivot.
The AFR+ is not suitable to short "drag" type pipes, and at the moment. It has some serious teething pains going on. so I would go PCV if I were you

I'm not an asshole...I just type that way

Kevinx, thx for the info.

So is this cutting that took place to install the shotguns, going to cause me trouble if I change exhausts to the Hackers ones, on their web site they say no cutting required, will I have to have something welded back in place.

Honestly, I haven't gone out to look at the bike its pouring rain and its covered, I'll check it out tomorrow tho for sure.

Btw do you have any opinions on the Hackers exhaust, and pros or cons between the shotguns and rippers/jokers
Thx

Number 2... bolt on rail... not structural, just a place to mount foot controls. It has a Victory part number. Nobody cut your actual frame.

Thanks Half Crazy, I've been reading some more about this, and seeing this pic makes it alot clearer...
If I go with the other pipes, I'll order the replacement "frame" piece..

Default frame + cobra tri pro

been reading + looking about the frame cut as i just received my thor exhaust. my 13 hammer has the optional tri-pro from the former owner, looking at the rail to be cut mine stops 1 3/4" past the center of the last engine mounting fastener + has a plastic plug in the end. waiting after the holidays to install as i won't ride in cold + snow. the kingpin vid looks to be about an inch from that last mount, so will i need a slight trim? cleaning off my table lift today i almost start removing the tri-pro, i am itchy to start. beside the xtra power its surely lighter + i plan to weigh them both.
