Seats, crashbars, and windscreens for 2016 Hammer S
Hi folks. I've done a bunch of searching, and I think I may have the answer regarding aftermarket seats, but I'll ask anyway. So...
Question 1) What aftermarket seat will provide extra "rider height" over stock? Generally I like a higher seating position than the normal cruiser riding position, probably because I still ride a sport bike, and I also feel that it keeps my from sloughing. I plan on riding with the stock seat to see how that goes, but with my last cruiser I added about an inch of additional seat height and that made for a much better position. It looks to me that the Corbin Dual Tour might be the answer, plus I have the option of having them add some additional foam during the ordering process. Not concerned about passengers since I ride alone. Comments? Can anyone tell me how the standard Corbin Dual Tour compares in height to the stock seat?
Question 2) Anything I should know about crash bars for the bike? Any specific recommendations?
Question 3) I will probably want to add a small windscreen to keep pressure off my chest. I ride with a full-face helmet, so wind really isn't an issue there. I like the looks of the National Cycle Mohawk...any comments on that or other recommendations?
