started my dual disc install and realized i do not have the proper size allen? to remove the axle. loosened pinch bolts but axle itself needs what looks like an allen head but not quite. a search said 14mm allen head on an 06 hammer is this correct? no nut or anything on other side so i assume the axle screws into the fork leg itself. thanks in advance
Yes, the axle is threaded into the fork leg. I made my own hex for it. Don't bother with trying to find an allen key for it. I've used in the past in a pinch a bolt head with some jam nuts to loosen the axle. Loosen the pinch bolts first.

after more searching a i found a witchdoctors vid for wheel change on an inverted fork like my 13 hammer, he mentioned all sizes needed as he removed parts. the screw in axle is a 5/8 allen, got a set of 1/2, 9/16 + 5/8 sizes 1/2 drive $11.99 + tax at auto zone. axle is out, wheel is off, movin on.
