Default Boardwalk solo luggage rack

Seeing how Victory had decided not to produce a solo luggage rack for the Boardwalk and there are no after market one available I have decided to go ahead and see if I can find a local metal shop to build one for my bike.

First step has been accomplished, part #5256249-626 is on order.

Definately interested. I'm still hoping victory will come out with a lock & ride style one to make use of my rather expensive spools.

2013 Victory Boardwalk
PC5 + Autotune
Victory genuine straight exhaust
Lloydz airbox & IAC
Lloydz Timing wheel

The difference in price between the seat bracket and the lock and ride backrest is what determined which item I chose to start this project out with.

$399 versus $149, leaves more money for the rest of the project.

Still in the planning stages, and still searching for a builder/metal worker in the area.

Had a idea of making a bitch hitch but don't think it would go over to well having a chrome 1 7/8" ball to sit on as a seat, might be good for a few laughs at the local watering hole though.

Found a solo luggage rack.
Awaiting for correct mounts to arrive.
But here's a sample photo of what it looks like.

Revived the replacement parts for the solo rack over the weekend, test fit onto the bike, have plenty of clearance between rack and fender now.
Solo rack system from BDD Customs.

Now Just another short 6 weeks before spring and some seat time.
