If your HWY all the way to work and back 60 miles a day at 65/70, you can think about putting an overdrive pulley on it which will drop your RPM about 300. May give you a +2or3 mpg but more importantly you will really like where your gearing is. Should be able to pick up the pulley for 350 and if you install yourself, a easy day job. The stage 1 flash and exhaust as BBob states would put you right where you want to be performance wise I would think.
Price of 8900?? Im feelin a little high. A quick look at cycle trader shows an 06 with similar package for 8K as well as an 07 and a 08 pushing 10K which they are getting you the 100/6spd. I would think 8K is a fair price, thats just me. You seen the bike and know how much time you want to invest looking for something else to get a little sweeter deal but don't think that V92 is weak and that you gotta have the 6spd. I run an 04 TC V92 54 miles round trip a day and just added the OD pulley and I am around 40 mpg cruising 65/75 for the trip... The bike is tight, sounds great and has the stage 1 flash and level 1 exhaust with a K&N bigmouth filter! See what you can come up with on a little better price or flash, filter and a exhaust thrown in as it would work out about the same. Good luck and keep us posted!!!
