Steering head race removal tool
After racking my brain on how to remove the tapered bearing races on my 04' KP I came up with a homemade tool that got the job done flawlessly in about 30 seconds. I cut the ends off a large offset box wrench (15/16" & 1"). I then used a cutoff wheel and a grinder to make the step and to radius the edges. I reached in behind the race and tapped them right out. On the steel frame bikes you cant get behind the races with a straight tool, you have to have the offset tool to get in there. I will keep this one handy for sure. Seems the iPhone focused on the wheel more than the tool, but you get the idea.
