Question Mounting Vic Passenger backrest??

Hi,
I purchased a Vic passenger backrest (the higher one) for my '08 Kingpin. The backrest has 6 mounting holes (4 on the bottom and 2 on the back end) while my passenger seat only has 4 on the bottom. ie: The backrest has 2 holes against the back edge of the seat my seat does not have. Can I use this rest or do it require that I have the Victory touring seat? Do I have to use the additional two holes?

Up to you mate Ive got same on touring passenger seat with all six bolts.
Would you worry if yr passenger fell off the back?
Obviously its got 6 bolts for a reason and I definitly wouldnt use it with a rack as well without 6 bolts.
Up to you, is it for looks or use?
If you plan on using it she will appreciate the comfort of the touring seat and you can sell yours to a solo rider to recoup costs. Touring seat I got was gen Vic part thru eBay thru. Loco or elco or el something, Southern California
