Default Computer questions

So I am looking to put on a set of slip on striaght pipe exhaust and maybe a set of torque tubes.
When I do this I will obviously have to reprogram the computer since its and EFI system. How do I go about this? Do they make a program I can do it myself using or do I have to bring ti to a dealer?

Im so used to carbs that this is brand new to me.

The easy way to go about this is to get a power commander 3 and download a map that was built for mods similar to yours.

The more difficult/expensive approach, would be to find a motorcycle tuner in your area with a dyno and get them to tune the bike with those mods. You will still need a power commander 3 or a loydds tuner. I prefer this method ONLY if I can trust the tuner (so ask around). I have heard of plenty of jokers with dyno's who think they know what they're doing but really don't understand efi, or how to tune for drivability vs max power. Be careful going this route. A cutom tune, done correctly, by an experienced tuner, should help your bike perform much better than a downloaded map.
