Default Front fork question

I just bought a new leftover 2011 Kingpin. I've put about 400 miles on it so far. I've noticed that when I lift it from the side stand that the forks "drop" noticeably. Once it's done, the forks seem OK. When I set it back on the side stand, I can see the forks expand about as much as they drop when I lift it. I've never noticed this on any other bike I've owned. Anyone else noticed this? Normal,r something to investigate?

When your putting the bike on the kick stand your taking the load off the front end and when put the bike up right yes it should go drown some.
Go to dealer and try a couple and see how much they go down
