Default Bike failed to start. Loud blast!! 2006 Kingpin

Tried starting the bike today. After a lot of cranking, the battery died but bike did not start. I also heard a blast. Reminded me of flooded carb days!
Shall I start by replacing spark plugs or can I do something before that? Gas is good.

How old is battery? Are cables tight check with wrench.
You do not have to pump throttle on FI bikes. Its a no no
When you get a good battery check to see if fule pumps when you turn key on.
Yes get some plugs maybe a couple sets.

When did you clean the throttle body last?

+1 what VJ sez. Plugs good for about 10K then replace 'em. Blast was more than likely gas vapors in mufflers or pipes igniting.
