Default wheel belt goes on question

sorry new to a belt drive bike...love it though (2008 kingpin)...it has been flawless even if i bought it used..already have 500 miles on it so far...my question is ..the wheel the belt rides on in the back appears centered with the belt, but i noticed some rub markings on the outer aspect of the wheel(the belt rides on) and if i feel the edge of that wheel , its kinda has some up n down to it, with some small possibly paint chips on the very edge as well....is this normal wear.....otherwise runs fine ,,has 11000 miles on it...
thanks

If the belt is tracking in the center of the pulley, I wouldn't worry about the wear marks and chips on the edge. I could be wrong but I believe the pulley is machined and then the outer "lips" are pressed on. If that's the case, the pulley can be true but the lips may be slightly out of round.
