Default Wind buffeting on KP Deluxe

I have an 06 Kingpin Deluxe with the stock windshield and lowers, and I get an awful wind coming up from the sides of the tank and buffeting my head and helmet. I'm trying to figure out where it's coming from...possibly the gap between the bottom of the windshield and above the lowers? Or inside the forks?

Does anyone have experience with this and know what needs to be covered?

thanks for any help.

Can you post a pic of the front of the bike with the lowers? I had bad buffeting. I made my own lowers and now it is completely gone.

I have less of a gap below the turn signal on mine. I would do what VJ recommended and try taping some card board there to see if that would fix it. If so, you can either make or find some lowers that go up higher. I hear the Memphis Shades ones work well.
