Sounds like you have a personal issue with a shop, not a brand.

Maybe you should redirect your anger. It's not Victory's fault your tire blew, they don't make tires. It's not Victory's fault your local shop can't help you right away, they don't run it.

Grow up....

If you are part of the victory association and give them a call, they come right away. My clutch cable broke and there was a wrecker at my location with the hour and no cost out of my pocket.

I don't know of too many dealers (Victory or otherwise) that do roadside assistance. Even in the car business that would be rare. I am surprised that you were not referred to a towing company to get the bike brought in.
As far as getting to the bike in a timely fashion, was it 10 days before they had an apppointment? That is not all that uncommon at a big shop. I got tires from my local Harley dealer last year and it was a week before they got me in.
Remember one very important fact when you make a judgement about a brand. YOU NEVER DEAL WITH THE MANUFACTURER! You are dealing with a franchise. If you have a product issue they act as a representative and do not speak for the manufacturer.
Plenty of people have horror stories about every brand available. They are all machines and therefore they all can break.

The roadside assistance card THAT YOU THREW AWAY was a free benefit when you bought the bike (it was a freebie from Victory, not the dealer). It was a free one year membership in the Owners group and included the roadside assistance. It was something that you could have renewed (at a cost) and had a toll free number to call.

You can get roadside assistance with a membership to the AMA (American Motorcycle Association), with a membership to the Owners group or through you bike insurance policy.

You can be mad at the dealer, the bike or anyone else, but you have the ability to prevent this from happening again by taking a few minutes and signing up for one of above mentioned sources. As you said in your original post " What would have happened if I was on the road?"
