This question comes up from time to time. If you find a link to a rear car tire that fits the Vegas wheel; please post it. No one else has found one.

Otherwise; people are getting up to 20k miles on the Dunlop D407 made for Harley's and available through an HD dealership.

They last over 20K on my big fat heavy Ultra so on a Vegas who knows probably way more.

A car tire on a vegas you'll loose 55% of your corning in twisty roads.
Baggers run car tires cause they don't lean over as far as a vegas can

2008 Vision

Please add your state and model of bike you have. Click user CP @ top of page and then far left click edit signature. Thanks

This presents 2 strikes....

What CT would fit and who in my area would be willing to mount it for me. No business would do it for legal reasons and can't blame them.

I'm a lazy, straight riding, 55mph running nut. I'd love to go darkside.

Anyone out there got a tire in mind and would be willing to mount it?

For the present... my bike is at the dealer due to my purchase of a Metzeler that failed. I purchased it online and they are helping me with an attempt to get Metz to replace it.

I'm going to call now to see if I can get an update.

mm I actually was under the impression that the vic baggers were as good or better than the steel frame bikes.around the bends.

found this tyre on a uk site might fit as apparently a 200 will go on the rear of the vegas

good year do the same size but the tread pattern is not symmetrical..
haventfound the Dunlop in aus yet

The baggers corner just fine. They are heavier though.

It would be close. At 205 I don't know if the belt will clear the tire.

I have 24 mm from belt guard to tyre at present so should be ok
The mudguard apears to be 220 underneath
Woulnt mind a second hand tyre to trial fit first
Might see what the locals have
