Hey guys, your right about the cold. It sucks. Still hoping for one more ride before I put the bike away. The weatherman says 50's for Sat so that might be it . For storage, I fill the tank and add seafoam, take a short ride to get it through the system, change oil and filter, a little shot of fogging oil in the cylinders, one quick crank of the motor. Then put bike on a stand to get the tires off the ground. Hook up battery to battery tender, throw a cover over it and wait for spring. Its not a real good idea to start the bike during storage unless your going to get it hot enough to burn off any condensation you'll create by starting it. Seals will be fine over winter without running. You'll do more damage by creating moisture in the motor by starting cold.
