Most of that I knew, the octane thing, only use what is needed, I knew that, I run premium a lot of times just to avoid the ethanol(junk!) I do have one gas station in town that I know of that has 88or 89 no ethanol, but I can't always get to it. And my plugs don't look like any of the pics, which they never do, but mine are darker brown with soot up the ground strap to the bend, then it cleans off, and the porcelain is darker brown, kinda chocolate brown, should be at the darkest, cardboard brown. The one I am not sure about is the letters on the plugs, by the letters/numbers what I am suppose to have by the sticker is CPR6EA-9, which by the ngk link, is 10mm threads, projected tip, resistor, 6 heat range, 3/4" reach, A(special design) -9 which is .036 gap(book says .032) What I have is the same exept the last letter is a B and not the A, the B is a solid tip. What is the special design tip? wondering if its the screw on tip?
I try to avoid NGKs because I have had a ton of trouble with them. And for the intake, it has a K&N air filter and the vented air cleaner cover, other then that I don't know, this is how I bought it. I am curious as what else can be done to the intake though. Thanks for the links!! its appreciated.
