Default Just bought wife 09 Vegas low

Hello everyone, I'm new to Victory I ride a 06 Royal Star Tour Deluxe. Wife had a Vstar 650, we went into our dealership which sells everything from Honda to Harley. The next thing I know my wife is sitting on a red 09 vegas low talking to the salesman. Guess what happened next. Yup she left with it. I've always been a metric guy cant stand a Harley, but after riding this Vegas I can sum it up in two words " FREAKIN AWESOME ". We went back today and I sat on the new Cross Roads I was very tempted. Can't wait to sit on the Cross Country I think that will be my next bike. Anyway I was wanting to find a nice set of slipon exhaust for the Vegas, any advice you guys could give would be great.

you can probaly find a set of stage one slip ons on ebay at a good price. but you're gonna need to find a download card to remap the efi also.

your really gonna hate life when your wife puts on the stage 1 exhaust mufflers and has the efi re mapped, the kit includes a better breathing air filter ele, for that minimal change that vic. will really perform, be sure you get directions where to meet up shes gonna leave you in the dust, on the bright side if your state is like calif. its a joint property state, meaning everything is 50 / 50 so enjoy your 50%

Just want to give you a heads up. Putting another exhaust on will pop. Actaully the bike pops anyway the stock exhaust muffles it.

About the only way to reduce the popping with a louder exhaust is to get the VFC.

My dealer has a stage 1 slip-on exhaust kit on sale for $329.00 but the parts guy told me that it wouldn't be that much louder than stock. I would like to hear one with this kit on it. Have any of you heard one with this kit installed? And yes, she already tried to run off and leave me but I caught up fairly quick. Having Two more cylinders on the Royal Star more than makes up for 334cc. Now that she has her windshield and fender rack so she can mount a rollbag shes tickled to death.

If you compare the Stage 1 Slip On's to any of the Victory exhaust or aftermarket they are considerably quieter.

Its basically going from a muffle to loud then louder and louder depending on the pipes.

The drag pipes are going to be the quiestest because they are so long.

Usually the longer the pipes the quieter they will be. Both because it is farther away from your ears and the distance the exhaust travels.

In August my wife got an 09 Vegas Low too, she went from a Vstar 1100 to that bike, we are now a 2 Victory family. She had the slash cut pipes added- no popping here at all.

Ride safe!
