Default Tag light

I just cleaned up the rear and installed a side-mount tag bracket. I ordered a couple of the LED bolt lights to finish it off. Any suggestions on routing the wires to keep them hidden? I'm not overly pressed to use, them but..

looks good...I always liked the look, but since I'm hanging a sidecar on my vegas..it just didn't work anymore...I needed the left turn signal to match the right turn signal of the sidecar..

Pretty much just pull back the wires and run them along the swingarm ..I used adhesive backed tie-wrap squares....

Not sure where you live but here in minnesota if you run a side plate the numbers have to be vertical.
If you have a beer or two you don't need to find out the hardway your state thinks like ours.

Most all garages need that big clean up

They're supposed to be that way here too...but in my time "enforcing" those traffic laws..I can say it's not exactly strictly enforced where I live. But thanks for the heads up.

I know you got my message, but I wanted to post anyway since I couldn't originally and I want to get my post count up. You can actually run the wires inside the swing arm, but it takes patience (and a metal fishtape or clothes hanger). There's a hole right in front of the brake mount, and another at the front of the arm. Also, if you're running led tag bolts, run the smallest wire you can. They don't need much juice, and it's less visible. I run the same setup on my 07 Vegas with smoked MBW signals.

Then he's good. That pic is Vertical |.
According to your State law they should be Horizontal ----.

Minnesota;

Subd. 7. Plate fastened and visible.
All plates must be (1) securely fastened so as to prevent them from swinging, (2) displayed horizontally with the identifying numbers and letters facing outward from the vehicle, and (3) mounted in the upright position. The person driving the motor vehicle shall keep the plate legible and unobstructed and free
from grease, dust, or other blurring material so that the lettering is plainly visible at all times. It is unlawful to cover any assigned letters and numbers or the name of the state of origin of a license plate with any material whatever, including any clear or colorless
material that affects the plate's visibility or reflectivity.
