Default Progressive 465 adjustment

I know a lot of guys are using these so I figured what better place to ask. Here is my issue:

I actually read the directions for a change but seem to be missing one thing. They explain how to install and how to measure sag. They go on to say the sag should be 1/3 of the overall travel. So far, no problem. Here's the problem, where do I find the overall travel? Or how do I measure it?

Thanks All

Rear shock travel on a 2011 Vegas is 3 inches. Not sure what year you have.

Probably the easiest way for me to explain stting the sag is to grt you to Google motorcycle suspension setup, also for visual check out YouTube theres many clips on there that illustrate the process of measuring and setting.
The above answers may be correct on a specs sheet but for your purposes and on your bike you need to find a reference point above the axle and measure and set your bike up yourself.
