Default Can I put a 190 55 18 tire on the rear without any problems

I have a 05 Ness Vegas with a 180 55 18 on the rear I would like to put a little wider tire on seen post about 200's poor handling and starting wondering if 190 55 18 work and has anyone tried it. Was there any issues?

It should work. We are only talking an extra 5mm (less than 1/4") on each side. You won't gain anything in the way of handling though. The 180 is the optimum width for handling.

It does handle well now but was asking if I might have any problems and may look better with a little wider tire just not sure if I want to be the first to try

I'm sure you can make a 190 fit, BUT:
-It will void the tire warranty if too narrow of a rim per tire manufacturer specs.
-It will sit taller.
-Once you "over-round" the tire to fit, it will probably be narrower than a 180.
-It will handle worse.
-It will wear in the middle quickly.

If you go up to a 190 I suggest you go down to a 50 profile.
