I just pick up the oil change kit for $60 and do it myself. So easy, anyone can do it...

If you pay someone to do it, figure they will charge you one shop hour, so another $60 at least. Sounds like they charged you a fair amount if you like to pay someone else to do a 20 minute job.

I switched to the Rotella in the blue jug with a fram filter. Everything is about $ 30.This is the third change with the same crush washer. First trip was 5500 miles and when I changed the oil it didn't look much different from when I put it in. Huge improvement. Engine is quieter and it shifts sooooooo much better.

I changed to AMSOIL in my 8-ball, oil and filter was about $60. Just do it yourself saves time and money. Can't get much easier than changing the oil on this bike. Of course a lift helps. Although I will say I really do not like the allen head bolt for the drain plug.
