    Greetings from Massachusetts...

I was browsing through some old posts and came across one from you about an 03 TC that another member was 'looking at' and wanted some advice on....You mentioned in one of your replies that you still had things left over from your 05TC, specifically, Mustang seat w/backrest. Now I know that the post was over 2 years ago, but I also know what pack-rats some motorcycle guys can be...Do you still happen to have it?

I've got an 04 TC and I've been contemplating swapping out the seat for one with a rider's backrest...I've been averaging about 12-13K per season since I started riding 3 years ago and it just makes sense to me to be as comfortable as possible...I fully understand if you don't have it, but could I at least get some advice on where to look without being taken to the cleaners? Thanks!

Sorry you have a bad shop maybe there is another one not to far away.
Reading the manual they say new belt and pulleys at 25 thousand. Its BS harley runs the same belt at we do and harley says inspect every 50 thousand. You'll find very few smart vic riders who change theirs. Maybe at 80 thousand you should. If you do a lot of dirt road that fine dust and dirt does wear the rear pulley cause its a die cast aluminum harley has the same just so you know. Read your manual and it will tell you what to look for on the belt and with a old tooth brush do a little cleaning now and then. Run 40 pounds of air in your tires and you'll get a good 12 thousand or more out of them. Check them the first of every month when the tire is cold. try this web site there more of a better site I think.
Happy Trail write if you have more questions.
