Yeah he is making a killing with the sidestand pucks.
Someone asked him if he thanked the person who actually came up with the idea (meaning me) and he said that he changed the layout so it's his own idea and he is ok with it.
I'm ok with it too I guess, it isn't the first time someone made some money from one of my ideas.
I made a jig on my tablesaw that can make these pucks real quick and I was thinking of just giving them to the people in my area so they don't have to spend $35 USD for him to send them to us, but that might be causing trouble.
I will just make them for my riding buddies or anyone else who asks, as a gift.
    Chat later.

    Hi Jim:
Wow, that's incredible. I would be interested to see if it is the same.
If you can send me some pictures of the different units to compare. My email address is [email protected]
I will go to the Lowes in my area to see how much the remotes are here in Canada.
I looked for one in the stores before I did the Mo-Door and they were at least $60, plus I would have had to get a switch to fit the dash.
That's why I opted for the Mo-Door. Still, it seems a bit unethical to do that.
    Thanks for letting me know.

Templates?! We don' need no steenking templates! :D

I just put painter's tape down, put the rack where I wanted it, evened it up and marked it that way. It would have taken me longer to do a template lol

Yep, I used the shortest legs for the front and the longest legs for the back; made for the most level position.

Heya Jim. I had zero issues installing it. Just measure, check, re-measure, re-check, and do it at least once more. Once you drill, you're committed! :)

Assemble it, place the legs where you want them, tighten the unit up and mark your holes. The biggest thing was making sure all the legs were angled right (since they can move) but if you take your time, it's simple.

Yup, less aggravation is what I look for in life now Lol :)
Glad you got it done. What's next on your list of mods??
    Pauljp ·
Absolutely, you don't have to remove the lowers, but I thought it was easier to work on it without it getting in the way or possibly scratching it.
It's also easier to remove the side aluminium pieces without the lowers. That's why I did it.

Hi Jim, my headlight connectors are 2 pins and simply plugs into the LED headlight. There is a small indent so it only goes in one way.

Hey Jim, I couldn't figure out how to reply to your latest message so I am sending you a new one.
I picked up my power block from Princess Auto. It sure cleans up the wiring.
Bill (wspollack) has a listing somewhere of others that are better, but also more expensive and you have to order them online, so that's why I went with the one from Princess Auto.

Just called my dealer , they usually stock it and have some more coming this week . I asked him for the part number and he gave it to me . # 2859080-520 If you cant get it I will be more then happy to get it and mail it to you . Let me know !

My dealer got it no problem , my bike is turbo silver and the first time around they got me titanium suede . I questioned the black color my flames are and they can even get that . If your dealer said they cant get you touch up paint , they are either dumb , or full of **** . If you want a bottle give me your year and color , and I will buy it and mail it to you if you would like .
