king4wd I know it's an old thread but I wanted to throw my 2 cents in here:
Reche Vista & Reche canyon from Moreno Valley out to San Berdoo ( I ride it every morning on my way home from work). If you ride it keep an eye out for the wild burros.
Old Rte 66 from Victorville to Barstow.

I'm thinking about the above post and wondering if you take main street to Clinton Keith road and turn right and drive the back way into temecula? Some of the steepest roads I've ever riden on! Then in Temecula you can go around Warner Springs to Julian or up highway 76 through the avocado fields past Mt. Palomar then up to Julian. I've done that ride 20 times at least! I try to stop off at The Hideout for a burger and beer.
yep yep to all of the above!! (except the beer, I like it too much to even try to have just one when riding!)

Happy pre-birthday young man!! 40, still a puppy!! I hope you have a great celebration!

when you have time for a bit of a lengthy ride, I was shown a wonderful route from my place to Julian, no freeways! the roads from Ortega Hwy to Fallbrook, thru the avocado orchards is one of my all time favs! hills & valleys & twists & turns!

Take care buddy, hope to ride with you soon

I'm doing good. This sunday is my 40th bday so family is getting together for that.

How is everything with you?
