Has anybody on here tried different positioning of their baffles in these pipes. Different sound? Performance?

I have them In my 2011 Vegas Swept pipes. I have only tried them 2 ways so far. First was using original mounting hole with baffle backwards (washer toward head). This way caused some weird issues but I think it may have been because I forgot to disconnect the o2 sensors.
Right now I have them in the same location with the baffle in correct orientation (washer is exit of the pipe) I have been running it like this for about a month now with no issues and sounds great.
I have yet to pull the exhaust in order to drill the new holes to mount them 6 inches in as recommended by Big City Thunder.

Thats the key to these baffels. Moving them fwd an aft you can get sound Hp and torque but takes a lot of experamenting. I fill unused holes with Ultra black sicheerscheerscheerscheerscheerslicone. Wont burn out that far back.cheers

+1 on that statement. Big city did the homework. put them where they say to for the best results. Did my VTX1300 with Bub Jug Huggers and thunder monster performance baffle and the performance difference pulling in second and 3rd gear is very noticeable. My son pulls my Vic everytime. Then the Vic spools up and passes the X on the top end. :D

2008 with swept pipes---I pulled my stock baffles..after talking to the TMB dude about the QQs and all the reading i did about who liked and didnt like them I began my fabrication.. I cut out the middle about 5 inches welded them back together..I welded a washer on a stem in both ends one small in the frt and a slightly bigger one ine the aft. They look alot like the QQs design. I then went to a local glass packing warehouse that makes baffles and purchased they fiberglass high temp they wrap the baffles in. I wraped mine and secured with light fishing line. The fishing line holds the glass on for installation purposes. then at operating temp the line burns off so the glass can expand like it wants to. I have about 25 percent at best guess of sound reduction and very little potatoing on deaccelleration. I had poping before hand but have not ridn it enough to report on that since the mod.. Its hard to tell if I have any more torque but it doesnt have any less thats for sure..I dont have any pics I was in a hurry to get it done I will try to get a sound bite for you all and see if I can get a pic up the pipe as well..
