I have been reading the forums and threads for awhile learning about the Victory bikes. I did the demo ride this summer and decided my next bike was going to be a Vision or a Cross Country.

I planned on waiting until late spring 2011 but then I saw the Cory Ness Cross Country. Wow. I decided to pull the trigger. I just love RED. I also got a little carried away with accessories. Some of the parts were on back order. The dealer is putting on all the little goodies now. I should be able to pick the bike up next week.

My question is, has anyone else picked up one of these bad boys?

Thanks, I have learned a lot from just reading the forums. I am really looking forward to some warm weather so I can ride this beautiful machine.

Nice, what number bike did you get. Mine is Number 80.
I too got a few goodies, The Flip shield, RPW exhaust, Power comander, Auto tune, high performance air fliter, Trunk and passenger backrest and Cycle Ops luggage rack, Ness Driver and Passenger Floorboards, Chrome Brake cylinder cover, Cam tension bolt covers, Victory Flame Grips, XM radio, Ipod cord saddle bag and trunk liners, heal and toe shifter, Hwy pegs, lower wind deflecters, and some other stuff.

I will post pics when the dealer gets it done.

NewNess!

I just got my new 2011 Cory Ness Cross Country and I love it. I used to ride a 2004 Vegas which I traded in on a 2007 Jackpot Premium. I still have the Jackpot and I'm trying to talk myself into keeping it along with the XC! I have an issue with the Gas Gauge sticking/reading incorrectly, anyone else have the same issue on their XC? I'm a little disappointed with the sound of the Stage 1. I wasn't expecting it to sound like the Jackpot, but I thought it would be a little louder than it is. I have the passenger backrest on it now, but I've ordered the Trunk and the driver backrest for the longer trips.

GTimmons - Was changing the rears foot boards as simple as removing the original Ness pegs and then placing the new chrome floorboards on that mount or did you have to replace the mounting brackets as well?

It looks like you also changed out the original Ness grips on yours as well, right? Did you simply want a "softer" grip?

Also, did you sell the original Ness grips and rear pegs that came on it or just hang onto them for the ability to return it to stock in the future?

Here is the link to the Ness floorboards (listed under Vision accessories)

Hey those rears will not fit! They are for a Vision and the won't fit the Cross bikes. I bought a set for the wife got all excited took off the stock ones (pain in the arse by the way, circle clips) went to install the new ones and no go. You need part # V-1133 NOT V-1132. The V-1133s are in the picture above. Arlen needs to get the Cross bikes on his web site. He told me a couple week ago he has a lota stuff for the Cross bikes that isn't on the web or in the catalog for that matter.
