I am doing a basement 117 build. Had my heads CNC ported, chambers blended, radius valve job, and surfaced .015. 530+ minutes of labor...LOL

So my question is since they have been decked and the valves are closer to the piston, how should I go about figuring how many degree's to compensate the cams??

Can't wait to get her back together and hear her perrrrrrrrrr!!

Thanks in advance!

Id be giving Kevinx at Southern Motorworx a call.
Im no expert but the guys that did my big bore resleeve top and tailed some off the barrels to square everyyhing up and then dummy assembled it with soft valve springs and wound it over by hand to check piston to valve clearance with plasticine on top of the pistons.
Everything cleared on mine.
Lloyd supplied extra base gaskets for adding clearance.
Pretty sure they doubled up the base gaskets on mine.
Give Kevin a call mate, he was happy to guide me through some stages of my build.
Yours is gonna have some grunt!
