Pinch bolts are out and Ive spread the clamps best I can but forks wont raise beyond 1/4in ???
Never had this problem on any other bike

Not faring.. something wont let them raise thru the tree.. cant find anything
preventing them from coming up

Why would you want to lower the front end, can't you see over the fairing/screen? Go with the Magnum "Blade " windscreen....

Correct - there is a taper machined into the tube and even if you could I wouldn't raise them beyond this as it will increase your steering geometry/rake with potential stability issues. If you really need the bike lowered try a cut seat first then cut the suspension if you need to - I am 5'8" with 31" inseam and I manage with the bike stock. Cheers
