It's now the same as the Boardwalk. I scraped the exhaust of a Boardwalk turning a corner at the pace of a parade of demo riders. Not in the same ballpark as a Cross bike. But to be fair, one could put a Cobra pipe on the Judge that would give it a lot better clearance. But that new Boardwalk is a looker with the X-bow pipes.I like it much better overall, especially since they moved the controls forward and the bars back. I liked the paint better on the original and preferred the "victory" across the tank rather than the badge. With the new setup I bet it's the best handling vic on the road.
They don't look any different to me. I doubt they would spend the money to design new ones. The only reason they got rid of the number plate is people complaining about something that's a little unique. Can't have that in motorcycle land. And of course they made it just like the Boardwalk to lower their parts count.am i wrong in thinking the fenders changed a bit? Could be just the pics but the rear looks smaller to me in some...others it looks the same.
Which appears to be a love it or lump it deal as they don't show any alternatives.So we got;
I think they are going to feel much better to people sitting on the bike in a showroom or doing a low speed, short demo ride. Do any high speed, shieldless jaunts and I'll bet the drag bars are more comfortable since they keep you tilted into the wind.The only thing i think was a good call was the bars...i like my drag bars now...but at first i thought i'd hate em.
thumb up thumb up thumb up thumb upSo the consensus is (among 13 owners lol) that;
Our judge is better!
The more i think about it...the more I'm glad ours are different and i hope the Judge does well in the coming years...so in ten i can have the coolest Judge on the block!
