Hi all. 1st post for me. I have an '11 Cross Roads that I bought late last year and have about 2500kms on it - most of it city driving. I'm planning my 1st long ride (1000kms) next month and was wondering if anybody had any suggestions, tips, do's/don'ts, etc.

Thanks in advance

Don't push yourself. If tired and/or hungry, pull over, take a break, refresh yourself. Fatigue is your enemy, so stay away from it.

Ditto what CR said plus move around a little on the seat/floorboards and use your cruise to give your right arm a break. Your legs aren't going to get to the brake or shifter very fast if they're asleep so moving around a little will promote circulation and will help your limbs from tingling as much.
