Anyone happen to know if there is any reason that an aftermarket fuel filter wouldn't work for the V92's? Victory wants $25 for an OEM. If anyone has used a Wix or another aftermarket filter, part numbers would be appreciated.

Also, is there an easier way to remove the fuel filter...I ended up removing the mono-shock. I couldn't see any other way to change it.

Thanks

Fuel Filter

I dont see why a automotive filter wouldn't work. I don't know what
the fuel pressure is on a victory but most cars is about 60 to 70
psi. Take it to a parts store and see if you can match up the size so
it will mount correctly. That's my 2 cents. Good luck and let us know
how it works out.

CFB.......No Luck. I tried going the auto parts store route, and actually tried two different ones, but with the numb nuts they have working there nowadays, if they cant pull it up on a computer, they are lost. Ended up going back with the Victory filter. Also replaced 3 fuel lines, and bought a spare quick connect all of which cost me $110. RIDICILOUS, but it did fix the leaking problem.

Sounds about right... I just ordered a new pump and filter from the Vic shop... when I pull the old ones I'll see what my contact at walbro can do... maybe there's a chance
