I just bought some victory drag pipes for my 05 Hammer. Currently I have the stage one slip ons. My question is do you think I need to bring in my bike to get it remapped for the drag pipes. Let me know what you think.

You should have had the download with the Stage 1's. I would take it to the dealer and have them verify the download.

Diamondrmp, Do you recommened me to get the VFC II for my 05 Hammer. Also would the mapping of my 05 Hammer every be lost if you lost power or changed the battery.

Personally I don't think a controller is necessary for your set up. All you need is the 05 Hammer drag pipe download. Victory part #4011322

First off the map is a "Hard" memory item, and it will never be lost unless it is removed for another map

Next up. If the pipes did not come with a map card, The current slip on map will work with a little tweak of the TPS adjustment. Maybe not 100%, but pretty close to 95%. If it came with a map card then use it.

If you have no other mods the Vic mapping is all you need. No reason to add the complications of a controller
