Hello all! New to the site. And I am looking for some advice! I am looking to get back into biking and have an oppourtunity to purchase a 2005 KP Deluxe ,.It has 6000 miles , pretty clean, one owner, they are asking $9000.00 My question, is this a good price for this bike? Is this a reliable bike? Good for both city and highway? Would the money be better spent on looking for a new non- current bike? I would be looking for something on th East coast , Maine, New Hampshire, or close to that.. Please wade in with your thoughts.. Thanx to all who took the time to respond!!:D

Well you can expect nothing but good things from that bike...Victories are pretty much bullet proof and an '05 with 6000 isn't even broken in. The '05 have the 92 cu in motor and a 5 speed transmission. In '06 they went to the 100/6spd. The guys that build up power in these bikes perfer the 92 to the 100's. I have an '06 KPD and I love it. It has 26000 miles on it and it runs stronger every day.

There are many people out there that have over 100K on their bikes.

City/highway no problem. The six speed is really nice on the highway...but an overdrive pulley is available for the 5 speed and is very nice I understand. Price seems about right...My '06 is kinda for sale (I ordered a new '10 Victory Cross Country) So I may sell my KP and if so I will be looking in the area of 12,000...So there ya go.

Just picked mine up Monday from the original owner. It has about 18K on it, some very minor cosmetics where I need to polish the chrome...it was $5500. Has Stage 1, extra leather bags plus original hard bags.

Bought in San Diego CA.

I bought an 04 KP with 5200 miles for $6500. I think there might be some room to haggle on that price, especially at the end of the season. No matter what you buy it for, you will love it. I have never heard of anyone buying a KP and not liking it.
Agreed, great bike, but price too high. Check online for Blue Book pricing.
