Hi, just joined the site. I have been riding bikes for over 40 years. I have built several bobbers, and my son and I own a small independent motorcycle dealership in N.C. We sell mostly sportbikes as they are good sellers, but I am more of a cruiser guy. Just sold my 1700 warrior for the 8 ball. I have questions but will ask in another thread later. Just wanted to introduce myself and say I am very excited about my new toy. Thanks, Ron

Welcome to the Victory Forums.

A couple of pointers. Check out the “how to” in regard to posting pics here.

The Search feature is your friend!  You will find the answers to a lot of your questions by using it.

If you are asking questions that are of a technical/mechanical/electrical/performance nature please place them in the “Victory Tech and Performance” forum. This will speed up a response. Placing them in the model specific forum can delay a response.

Hello Nahunta

Nice to hear from you! You are only about 30 miles from me. Do you get parts local? I have a hairline crack in my front cylinder head, so oil leak! don't really want to spend the money on new....any suggestions?

I have only had mine about 3 months so have not bought anything yet, plans are exhaust, airbox and tuner over the winter though. As far as the crack in the head, I just so happen to run a machine shop, so could possibly help you with the cracked head.

machine shop

that's awesome, once I pull the motor again I will get up with you. Bad news is I had a local guy(professional) weld it once already(sloppy job) and put it all together and it did not work(still leaked oil), I know how I hate following behind someones work but hopefully you can help. Will let you know when the motors out again. Lot of fun pulling the motors out of these, I can pull a v-8 out of a chevy much quicker, but patience has somehow become a virtue with me, so I will get her done. Will be in touch....Thanks, Ron
