So I've been riding a lot for a year; bought a 2007 BMW R1200R; very bitchin bike but wanted another bike; thought I wanted retro; looked at Triumph, Motoguzzi, all the other Italians, no to the land of Nippon; looked at a picture of a Victory and I was gone in 10 seconds.

Came home. Wife said: . . .hey that's pretty, looks like art deco... she's not really into riding or the BFT [big frigging twin] thing; but, darn it is beautiful. I've ordered a black solo luggage rack but may not put it on as I love that big black shiney rear fender look. I bought it with 750 miles on it; previous owner had put on the windshield and a very darn nice job on a chrome license plate holder.

Roll on power is just amazing. Handling is intuitive and amazing. Much easier to ride smoothly than the BMW...which of course, I'm keeping too. Along with the 125 cc Honda Pizza Bike what was made in China on Japanese patents, sold in Mexico and now a sort of shaky illegal/legal alien.

Gonna get a custom solo seat. Watched the Arizona Victory videos last night; amazing what the motor/tranny technology is compared to HD.

I am for sure on the correct bike.

Welcome to the Victory Forums.

A few helpful pointers,

  • Please take the time to read the “Sticky” threads in the “Victory Forums Rules and New Members Introductions” forum. This will help you out a LOT with the Victory Forums.

  • The Search feature is your friend! You will find the answers to a lot of your questions by using it.

  • If you are asking questions that are of a technical/mechanical/electrical/performance nature, please place them in the “Victory Tech and Performance” forum. This will speed up a response. Placing them in the model specific forum can delay a response.
Please add the year and model of your bike to your signature, so we know how to help when you ask a question!
