Bike Week is in full swing! Stuart and I are heading out in the a.m. for the ride down. If you're in Daytona for the festivities, be sure to make a run down to Volusia Motorsports to talk to Andy and the guys/gals there. Good people. While you're there, make sure you visit the Witchdoctor tent to see their latest offerings. The pics on their Facebook page sure are impressive. Remember, if you're pre-registered for the Southeast Victory Rally, Jon will get you entered into the raffle for a $100 Witchdoctor Gift Card!!

We'll be at the Victory luncheon tomorrow at noon, then on to the Speedway to check out the Klock Roads, Ness Cafe, the HardBall, and the Judge. I'm also looking forward to checking out the new HotVic.com trailer!

We will likely be spending our evenings at Froggy's on Main. Look for us in the back garden and join us for a drink!!

In just 30 days, we kick off the 7th annual Southeast Victory Rally!!! There are a few things that will be different this year, including the cancellation of the traditional Thursday dinner ride. In place of that ride, Jack's Custom Cycles and Witchdoctor Billet Specialties will be hosting the event kick-off party and dinner will be provided!!

Pre-Registration will be shut down in about two weeks so we can compile the data and start getting registration packages built. If you are planning on coming and have not yet registered, please do so. This allows us to better plan for the number of folks we have showing up. Pre-registration also cuts down the lines at the registration tables, as well as check in times, and allows us to keep less cash on hand during the event.

Keep an eye out on the website, as we are finalizing plans and ride routes and will have updated information posted every few days.

See ya'll in Helen!!

Well, folks. Just one more week before we shut down pre-registration. On-site registration will be limited to CASH ONLY, so if you're on the fence and don't make a decision in time, please keep this in mind.

Also, with on-site registration, we cannot guarantee we will have your shirt size. We try to forecast what we might need to fill on-site registrations, but my future-telling skills aren't what they used to be and we do run out of certain sizes every year.

Pre-registration also helps us with planning for food, this year more than ever. With the "what day will you be arriving" question on the website, we are able to more accurately plan for dinners each night to ensure we (a) have enough food for everyone and/or (b) don't waste money on a bunch of food people won't be there to eat.

Just 22 days until the Kick-Off Party, but we'll see some of ya'll in less than 20!! Ride safe!!!

**2012 SOUTHEAST VICTORY RALLY PARKING**

As those of you who have attended in the past may have already noticed, parking at the host hotel is a problem area. We believe it is time to take steps to alleviate some of the issues, with availability and safety in mind. To that end, the following changes will be in effect for this year's event. Please plan accordingly...

-With the exception of the small area at the end of the Country Inn & Suites where the dumpster is, the hotel parking lot will be cordoned off for MOTORCYCLES ONLY.

-Eight parking spaces in the small open area will be reserved for hotel staff. The staff is there for us, it's the least we can do for them. Please respect the reserved signs.

-For those caging or trailering to the event, we have made an arrangement with the city and you will be able to park your vehicle in the city lot at the end of Edelweiss Strauss, past the festhalle. NOTE: THERE IS A $25 FEE. This fee covers you for the entire time you are there for the rally, be it 4 hours or 4 days. We will be providing placards to be placed on your vehicle dashboard.

-For those that have parked at the Chinese restaurant in the past...that restaurant is now open for business, so you won't be able to park there this year.

-Pop-up tents/pavilions can be a welcome escape from the sun and inclement weather and we welcome them at the rally. However, as we work toward providing as much parking availability to accomodate everyone, we are asking that pop-ups be put up on the grassy/sidewalk areas next to the hotel and not in parking spaces, unless they are intended to be used for covered parking.

I understand this may be an inconvenience for some, but we felt it was necessary to provide the best possible overall experience for everyone attending. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
